Update from CEO Clive Haddow

March 2024 Clive Haddow CEO

Been a while since we posted something. The reason are that I took some extended leave to deal with a couple of personal issues. Just to give everyone an update I am back on deck now and we have an exciting year ahead. The Foundation has purchased a truck which is fitted out. This was thanks to collaboration from Midlas and the CEO there Gayle Gouillou who was very helpful in bringing this purchase to a great outcome. We are in the process of formulating a strategy around how we can use this van to help with Mental health. If you are an organisation that works in this area we would be happy to talk to you about ideas for this van to get maximum value for people in need of support.

Note from Director of the Fortuna Foundation MELVYN GILBERT

Had the opportunity of meeting ‘Larry Laza, the Laundry Lad’ and his family who have been big #supporters of the Fortuna Foundation. Liam, better known as Larry Laza is severely #autistic and faces many challenges which affect his #quality of #life and #speech. Yet, together with mum, dad and his support workers, he’s managed to build a business. Yes, that’s right!! Liam is an #entrepreneur.

Liam – Larry Lazza the laundry lad

#manufacturers of #highquality washing #crystals for #laundry, Liam and his team services many businesses across Greater #perth region. He also donates crystals to help us provide free mobile laundry services for the #homeless. Liam is a true #inspiration , who strives to beat his disability every day; and WINS! On behalf of our Fortuna Foundation board, Clive Haddow, our #ceo and our entire team, we humbly #thankyou Larry Laza, for your support; it means a lot to us!
